一、教學目標:
To provide a fun and creative learning environment to enable students to develop their spoken English and conversation abilities in order to be able to communicate clearly and confidently in English. To develop grammar and writing skills in order to clearly and concisely communicate through speaking and writing. To develop skills in all 4 key areas of language ability, listening, speaking, writing and reading. To develop students conversation ability in daily English and in a wide range of situations including when communicating with a foreigner. The aim of this course is to develop students confidence in their conversation ability by providing a fun and caring environment for them to practice their English based on real life situations.

三、課程選修條件:

四、授課(實施)方式:
小面授 Delivery):Lectures, power-point presentations, textbook material and youtube videos. Student participation in group activities, challenges and discussions.. Student group presentations on given topics, including the final group presentation. Course material will be provided digitally so students will not have to purchase the textbook.

第一次 | Course introduction. Doctor and dentist – Present perfect continuous tense. Activity: Role play. |
第二次 | Personality: Positive and negative personalities. A job interview – Role play and listening |
第三次 | Studying overseas –Learning to adjust culturally. Giving a presentation/speech. |
第四次 | Money – Money and banking vocabulary. Money proverbs. Money discussion questions. |
第五次 | Injuries – Injuries and accidents vocabulary. Injuries to famous people. Emergency situations. |
第六次 | Describing people – Relative clauses (Quiz) |
第七次 | Learning and using English - Problems with learning English and how to overcome them. |
第八次 | Housework – Phrasal verbs. Review. |
第九次 | Final Group Presentation. Final exam. |
