Course Description:
The "Daily Life English 1" course targets adult EFL students from beginner to lower intermediate levels, aiming to impart essential language skills for everyday situations. Delivered in both Chinese and English, the course combines online lectures and in-person classes to explore practical topics such as greetings, hobbies, and conversations about health and beauty, structured into 18 units with three sub-units each. These units delve into real-life scenarios including dining, shopping, and transportation, enriched with cultural insights, vocabulary, grammar tips, phrases, idioms, and practical exercises for real-world use.
Course Objectives:
1. Enhance Communication Skills: Students will improve their ability to communicate in English effectively in various daily situations, with a focus on practical application.
2. Build a Robust Vocabulary and Grammar Foundation: Learners will broaden their vocabulary and receive grammar reminders, enabling clearer expression and better understanding in conversations.
3. Master Idioms and Phrases: The course emphasizes understanding and using idioms and phrases accurately, aiding students in sounding more native.
