一、教學目標：
1. to enhance early reading skills and phonemic awareness of EFL students.
2. to enhance EFL students’ vocabulary categorized around the themes of buildings, colours, farm & animals, family, food, numbers, people & jobs, and transport.
3. to enhance EFL students’ knowledge of British culture and history.
After the course, students will have the ability
1. to hear rhymes or alliteration
2. to blend sounds to make a word (e.g., /a/-/t/ = at)
3. to count phonemes in words
4. to identify the beginning, middle, and final sounds in words
5. to substitute one phoneme for another (e.g., change the /h/ in "hot" to /p/)
6. to delete phonemes from words (e.g., omit the /c/ from "cat")"
